This year we have been doing work on Be There. This is one of our new values. It is about being there for people that need your help and being their in your learning and being focused.

Star Explosion

This week we have been writing about a star explosion and we and to describe what it was about. First we made a sequence map then we made a describe ++ map it was fun.

We watched the video of a star exploding. This is it below.

My Star Explosion Description

A star explodes when it reaches the end of it’s life.

The star begins as a bright yellow star. It starts to bubble with orange,yellow and red flames. I think it's getting hotter because it’s getting ready to explode. This makes me wonder how big do stars get

Suddenly lots of little explosions pop out like popcorn it's really blue and white i wonder what it might look like from earth it might look all orange then when it gets bigger you can see it's all blue maybe i think it is like this because the core has exploded. It makes me wonder how did the core break?

All of a sudden there is a bright white flash. The flash expands from the star and goes as far as you can see. It might go further then you can see.  I think it does this because the core has gone BOOM!! This makes me wonder are stars small suns?

Finally the star has exploded and the whole star is blue and it’s getting bigger and bigger. I think that when it has exploded it turns into little rocky things and spread throughout space. This makes me wonder how do stars  grow and grow?

Overall there are 4 stages to a star exploding.

ON YOUR MARKS GET SET GO!!

I’m the boy in the front

I’m jogging at the start. He was beating me at the start then when he slowed down. I jogged past him after I got past him I had to do 5 more laps. Then i slowed down a bit but he still coulden’t  get past me i started to get a tummy ache.

I'm trying to not walk but i can jog i'm getting a really bad stitch it hurts he is only about  2 metres  away.

I can feel sweat dripping down my face i'm trying to wipe it all off. I’m boiling like i’m in a hot jug. I feel really dehydrated I NEED a drink NOW !!

I can hear all the cars going past. There are lots going BROOM. Lots of them are revving and lots and lots of people are cheering at me.

I can see all the brown trees and dead crunchy leaves i keep standing on the leaves

I can taste  sweat falling into my mouth it's disgusting i'm about to do lap 4. i can feel the food churning in my stomach

Computer safety

Spencer Park Trip

Last week on Friday the Senior syndicate went to Spencer Park.  First we

had a meeting about safety. Then we got to eat.

After we ate I went on the big red rope spiderweb I nearly got to the top  there was a big rope in the middle there were mat sort of things we could sit on I sat on one for a bit then I went up to the next one and sat on that one for a little bit too then I climbed to the top and sat there for a wee while. After that I went to the sand but there was water and sand there was a water fountain i pressed on that and it made lots and lots of water after I went on a toy digger and scooped up a lot of water it was so fun then.

I went back to the spider it sort of looks like the Eiffel Tower After that I went back to the sand bit and no one was on the digger so I hopped back on it and covered up the water with sand and flooded it  so i dug up the sand again and tried to there was a blue thing you had to sit on and let someone swing me around and there was also a big blue donut you could spin on and it could fit about 6 people on it and had a couple of turns on it.

I also went to the toilet after that The whole Senior Syndicate went to the beach and had two competitions and the first one we had to dig a big hole and Mrs Raisin will put an i pad and in the hole and took a photo of all of us After that.

We Covered up and We tried to make a hero and i done our dad it was so fun. After that we had a we bit of a play at the beach and Austin and I played tag and i tagged him 3 times and he tagged me 4 times.
