Weather

WALT: To write an information reports with the correct structure and language features

This week in writing we have been learning about weather ans how warm heat rises an carries the most moisture and cold air goes down and carries hardly any moisture.

Weather
“Dang this is annoying… the sun is too hot on my body.

Weather Is a unexpected thing that changes minute by minute.

The weather at the moment is really hot and the sun is up really high and there are no clouds anywhere to be seen. This is a really hot day and the sun gets really hot.

Tornadoes are Really fast spinning clouts that pick up anything to be seen. They are really strong and have lots of power.

A storm is an uproar that has lots of different weathers into such as rain, lightning and thunder. They are all called a storm when they are together.

The difference between a cyclone and a hurricane is that a cyclone spins right and a hurricane goes left.

This storm is really cold and i need to go inside and take a picture. I LOVE STORMS!!

Expanding balloons

This week we had to do a science experiment with the heat and air. we put a bottle in hot water and it made the hot air go in and make the balloon blow up because heat rises and makes the balloon blow up. i thought that the balloon would blow up from the heat rising into the balloon and it really happened .

Antarctica information report

Weather and climate information report

Antarctica is the windiest , driest and coldest continent in the world. as it is on the bottom of the world is has extremely cold weather

Over the last few weeks, during literacy, we have been learning about Antarctica. We visited the antarctic center and read lots of information about Antarctica. i wrote a description/information report about Antarctica using the correct structure and language features. i also researched about  climate and weather and produced a information report

When the world tilts and he south pole is facing towards the sun and when it turns  to the north pole and it goes away from the sun so Antarctica is only seen on one side. the hottest Antarctica has ever been in 18.5°C and the coldest is -89.2°C. storms can go on for several days, even weeks. when the storm is really bad the penguins huddle to keep each other warm. to be an iceberg it must be 5 meters across if any smaller its known as a growler.

I would love to go to Antarctica because i like the cold but it will be too cold for me.
