Te Manu Tukutuku poem

This week we had to make a poem About the new school. The reason i like it is because it is big and there is a big diamond shape that you can spin on and you can climb up to the top. I find it fun because you can go on the inside of it too. 

I can hear people cheering and chattering about Te Manu Tukutuku.

I can see people playing basket ball and having tons of fun.

The smell of the new school smells like the scent of the refreshing air.

The walls feel like I am touching clouds and the furniture feels like foam and lots of pillows.

This is a very nice and amazingly and awesome School called Te Manu Tukutuku.

Well done Mr Moriarty and his crew!

for a couple of days we have been doing this thing called literacy journey. Today I had to write 3 things to keep my neighbor hood beautiful, Do a picture of me relaxing and write what you liked, what you learnt, what you didn't like and what surprised you.

S.T.E.M

This term i have been doing S.T.E.M which means science, technology, engineering and maths every Tuesday afternoon. We had to learn to make a boat out of straws and that can hold some weight which was 25 grams. It was challenging at the part when we had to tape them because that were all in a line next to each other and they needed to be straight so it took a long time to pick them up and tape them. The easy part was when i needed to put the straws inline.

Day 5 New country... WOW.

Bonus activity: to make a moa foot print out of paper.

Wed, September 20| Today we had to make a slide show about wild eyes and we had to do things like pick one animal you would like to adopt and why |slide 2|, Say three reasons to kill possums or predators or not to kill possums or predators |slide 3| then I had to draw a Moa footprint and make it look like I found it in the ground.
